FV Hospital has begun the process to receive JCI accreditation. JCI (Joint Commission International) JCI is a non-profit organization dedicated to improve the safety and quality of care in the international community through education and consultation services and international accreditation. JCI is the largest accreditor of hospitals based in the United States. In January 2008, two delegates from JCI visited FVH to assess our profession standards, our facilities and equipment, our healthcare safety and the results we have achieved.

FVH has more than 400 share-holders, all are leading physicians working in Europe. These doctors visit us on a rotation basic adding more value to the quality of medical techniques & services on top of our permanent qualified team. They each practice between 2 and 3 weeks out of every year at FVH.

FVH follows strict procedures in examination, diagnosis, treatment and recovery with the most modern medical equipment and facilities to ensure infection is controlled; and, when necessary, to identify the infection with great accuracy, in a timely manner, allowing for proper treatment plans to be decided accordingly.

Medical meetings of senior staff are held regularly, so that the best treatment can be ascertained. The hospital strictly conforms to the treatment procedures identified by international regulatory bodies, including information gathering, establishing the patient’s case history (medical file), to the preparation of the patient for surgery, the recovery period, right up to the discharge of the patient.

Patient safety is further guaranteed by our adherence to strict hygiene codes that cover all practices ranging from pre-surgery preparation, sterilization of all medical equipment, sterilization of the operating theatres and intensive care units; right down to the proper disposal of one-time medical items.

Specialist medical care, which may be prohibitively expensive in your own country, is available around the clock at FVH at modest rates, especially when compared to those encountered in western societies.

FV Hospital pricing has been carefully analyzed and adjusted to reflect the economic realities of Vietnam, to make international quality healthcare affordable for as many people as possible. This policy makes our prices all the more attractive to overseas visitors.

We do not implement a dual pricing system. Our fees are consistent, regardless of the nationality of patient or doctor. In order to remain affordable to the majority of our patients, we have developed a special low pricing policy with discounted and packaged prices.

FV Hospital provides a package pricing system in order to minimize and simplify our patients' surgical charges. Each package has a carefully calculated price, which is inclusive of doctor fees, nursing care, standard medications, operating theatre time, anaesthesia, hospitalization fees for a semi-private room and other charges related to your stay.

All package prices have been calculated according to the requirements of standard surgical procedures and average recovery times. Complications that may lead to additional treatments, procedures, investigations, medications or extended hospitalization are not included in the packages. Special package pricing is extended only to patients paying for themselves and does not apply to patients covered by health insurance.

No discount of can be applied to single package prices; however, patients who sign up for two or more packages to be performed at the one time: you will be charged full rate for the nights for whichever procedure is the longest and will receive a discount on the other nights.
