Buttock lift requires the placement of implants to give a more pronounced appearance (this procedure is also called “buttock augmentation”). FV hospital uses an elastomer, a soft and leak-proof material.

The implants are located inside the muscle and above the sitting area so that you never sit directly on them. The incision can also be made at the back of the thigh where the cheeks meet. Your doctor will recommend which incision is most suitable for you.

General anaesthesia.

About two to three hours.

Buttock lift can be painful since it stretches the tissues but the pain will significantly dissipate after two days.

Three nights in hospital are usually required. Return to work is possible within ten days, but physical activities should be avoided for a few weeks.

Some bruising and swelling occurs, the first disappearing after about one week, the latter after two weeks.

Stitches will dissolve within seven to ten days.

Scars will hardly be noticeable.
